CAIR Condemns Killing of Hamas
Terrorist Leader, Why?
Nihad Awad, CAIR Executive Director
Former “Public
Relations Director” for the Islamic Association of
On March 22, 2004, the Council on American
Islamic Relations (CAIR), issued a press release
condemning the killing of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin by Israeli forces.
Who is this so-called “religious leader?” He is the founder of Hamas
(1987), calling it the “Palestinian Wing of the Muslim Brotherhood”. The
“Muslim Brotherhood” is a militant Islamist group that advocates the strict
interpretation of the Koran and the application of Sharia law world wide.
Yassin took part in planning for terrorist actions and provided religious
cover to Islamist terrorists, telling them that their heinous acts of terror
murder were sanctioned by Allah.
What did CAIR have to say about the killing of this so-called “religious
leader”?
An act of “state terrorism”? When we view bodies of Israeli’s torn
apart by militant Islamist bombs, we hear nothing from CAIR about “Palestinian
sponsored terrorism”. Why?
CAIR continues:
The “Hamas branch” in the United States, CAIR, calls on the United
States to cut off funding to Israel? The only democratic government in the
Middle East should not be supported by the United States? Israel actively
searches for, and then kills, militant Islamists and the United States should
be opposed to this policy? Why? Since when is it a crime to kill a terrorist?
CAIR adds this:
So be it. It is long past time that Washington supported the killing
of militant Islamists who have either killed or sanctioned the terror murder
of innocents. Militant Islam has declared war on the world; it is appropriate
that the world answered militant Islam’s violence in the language they best
understand: more violence, judiciously applied. The war on terror will never
be won by negotiation or appeasement.
Whose side is CAIR on in the war on terror?
The answer is painfully obvious:
Americans can NEVER say that we have not been warned by CAIR. With
this press release, CAIR has once again put America on notice that they support
militant Islam and the terror murders of innocents in the name of God…all
sanctioned by so-called “religious leaders”.
What will it take to make we Americans pay attention to CAIR’s words?
How much longer must we tolerate the presence of the “U.S.
Section of Hamas” ?
CAIR has told us, repeatedly, what they stand for and who they support
in the war on terror. Why haven’t we been listening to them? What is stopping
us from taking them at their word? Why do we refuse to accept the truth
about CAIR when they repeatedly slap us in the face with their words of hate?
Never forget the words of Nihad Awad, CAIR Executive Director:
Don’t say we haven’t been warned…repeatedly.
ACAIR is pleased to answer any questions from the public
and press.
