CAIR:  Founder of Texas Chapter Guilty

On Wednesday, 13 April, three brothers were found guilty of supporting terrorism by funneling money to a leader of the notorious Islamic terrorist group Hamas.

Not mentioned in the reports, carried by various media, is that one of the brothers, Ghassan Elashi, is the founder of the Texas Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a self-described “Islamic civil rights group” based in Washington D.C., and a long-time associate of certain CAIR leaders.

Ghassan Elashi left the court without comment.

    What could he possibly say?

Now a convicted Hamas bag man, Elashi has gone silent. Does a Hamas terrorist supporter have a concience?  Or is it the typical cowardice of Islamic terrorism supporters?

As Anti-Council on American-Islamic Relations (ACAIR) has argued before, we believe that certain of CAIR's senior officials are tied to persons involved in Islamic terrorism.

This latest conviction seems to us to prove the point that CAIR really is not a “civil rights group” in the fashion of the NAACP.

Instead, we believe the evidence shows CAIR's leaders are a danger, and an embarrassment to all Americans.
