CAIR Lawsuit Documents Posted Online

Due to numerous requests, Anti-CAIR (ACAIR) has posted the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) lawsuit documents on its web site.  The documents are linked from the left hand side of the web site home page under the American Eagle clutching the flag.

Statement

The director of Anti-CAIR issued the following statement on 7 April, 2004 regarding the lawsuit filed by CAIR against ACAIR’s director, Andrew Whitehead:

1.  Every statement ACAIR has ever made in regard to CAIR is the truth and has been reliably sourced.  We stand by every word.

2.  CAIR doesn’t like the truth, rather than debate their position in the free American marketplace of ideas, they sue.

3.  We find it very odd that a “civil rights group” isn’t standing up for free speech.

4.  We look forward to vigorously defending our position in court.

ACAIR will issue no further public statements regarding the lawsuit.  Any further statements will come from our legal representatives.

Statement Regarding ACAIR Legal Defense Fund

ACAIR is in the process of establishing a legal defense fund to assist in defraying the expenses inherent in defending our Director, Andrew Whitehead, from CAIR’s lawsuit.

Details will be presented as they become available.

We ask that no funds be sent at this time.  Thank you for your understanding.
