CAIR:
Protecting Muslim Citizens is “Unlawful”
The Los Angeles Police Department recently
announced a program designed to gather information on Muslims living in
the city. According to the article in Yahoo
News:
“The LAPD's counterterrorism bureau plans
to identify Muslim enclaves
in order to determine which might be likely to become isolated
and susceptible to "violent, ideologically based extremism …
we want to know where the Pakistanis, Iranians and Chechens
are so we can reach out to those communities.”
The department apparently plans to collect
information with the goal of determining which Muslim communities may
be susceptible to the call of Islamist terrorism. Given the significant
number of Muslims in L.A., Anti-CAIR believes the Los
Angeles
Muslim community would be welcoming this plan with open arms. After
all, what community, regardless of its racial, political, or religious
background wants to have terrorists in its midst? Specifically,
terrorists who hide behind a pseudo-religion -Wahhabism-
and falsely claim a perverted mandate from a phony god that demands
they terror-murder everyone who doesn’t agree with them in his name?
Apparently, the "Muslim
community" represented by the Council on American-Islamic Relations
(CAIR) does.
This common-sense plan, which is apparently
designed to thwart Islamist extremism, would seem to fit in nicely with
CAIR’s supposed devotion to “peaceful” Islam. However, in a letter to
the department, signed by CAIR and other so-called representative
Islamic groups, along with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU),
the following objection is raised:
"Singling out
individuals for investigation, surveillance,
and data-gathering based on their religion constitutes
religious profiling that is just as unlawful, ill-advised
and deeply offensive as racial profiling.”
What is really
offensive to North American Muslims, and all other peaceful
North Americans, is the presence of terrorists in our communities. Why
does CAIR continually fail to acknowledge this simple fact? Why
does CAIR consistently
side with those who oppose any efforts to reduce the threat of
Islamic terrorism in North America?
Answer: Because CAIR is a terrorist
supporting front organization that was founded by terrorists,
partially funded by terrorists, and wishes nothing more than the
implementation of Sharia Law in America.
(CAIR knows they can’t bite
the hand that feeds them!)
Perhaps CAIR is upset that the LAPD didn’t
approach them and beg at their feet for help in implementing the
program? That the LAPD didn’t throw 30 pieces of silver at CAIR for
phony “sensitivity training”?
Once again, CAIR’s active support for Islamist
terrorism and Islamist terrorists is on display…to all who will only open their eyes ...
