ACAIR Correction Re: Randall Royer
/ ACAIR Press Release #15 dtd July
11th, 2003
ACAIR presented evidence
in our press release #15, dated July 11th,
2003 indicating that Mr. Randall " Ismail" Royer was an ex-employee
of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) at the time of his
alleged crimes. In reality, Mr. Royer was actively
employed by CAIR at the time the alleged crimes
occurred. In addition, Mr. Royer had engaged in combat in Bosnia
as an Islamist Mujahideen before "rejoining" the CAIR
organization.
ACAIR regrets this error...
Daniel Pipes? Enough,
Already!
On July 27th, 2003, the Council on American
Islamic Realtions, (CAIR) issued an "Action
Alert" accusing Mr. Daniel Pipes of comparing Islamic people to
“NAZIs”.
( * Note: the original
Action Alert
and link vanished from CAIR's website around 8/9/03. Over one
week
later, and with no apology to Dr. Pipes .)
CAIR based its accusation on a CNSNews.com article
describing Mr. Pipes address to the Young America’s Foundation National
Conservative Student Conference in Washington D.C. According to
CNSNews.com:
“Pipes added that he doesn’t perceive the
Islamic people
as divided into two groups:
the radical terrorists and those who are
not.
He said “there is no history
behind such an outlook and nothing that
would
support such optimism.
It would be like saying there were good
and
bad Nazis,” Pipes noted.”
CAIR has been prominently displaying their
“Action Alert” on their web site. The only problem? Mr.
Pipes was misquoted. We quote from the retraction by CNSNews.com Executive
Editor, Mr. Scott Hogenson: “The article erroneously stated
that
Pipes doesn’t perceive the Islamic people as divided into two groups –
radical terrorists and those who are not. In fact, Pipes used the
term “supporters of militant Islam,” not Islamic people.”
“My view is ‘no, there is
no
good and bad in militant Islam,’
no more than there are good and bad
Nazis, Pipes said,
according to an audiotape of his remarks.”
In the “Action Alert”, CAIR Board Chairman
Omar Ahmad, a strong supporter of the Hamas terrorist group, said: “This
quote alone, without even taking into consideration Mr. Pipes’ long
history of anti-Muslim bigotry, is sufficient to disqualify him from
helping to direct a taxpayer-funded organization dedicated to the
peaceful resolution of international conflicts.” CAIR, well
known for smearing anyone who disagrees with their terrorist cult of
Wahhabi Islam, was very quick to post the original article and has, so
far, been very slow to remove it from their web site. In
addition, CAIR has yet to issue a retraction of Mr. Omar Ahmad’s
inflammatory comments. Why?
Our final point. What is it about Mr. Daniel
Pipes, an unknown professor just a few years ago, that has CAIR so
upset? What is it about Mr. Pipes that makes Mr. Ibrahim Hooper
(CAIR Spokesperson) swoon at the very mention of his
name? What is so frightening about Mr. Pipes?
Has he advocated violence and supported terrorist
murders like Mr. Ahmad and Mr. Hooper? Does Mr. Pipes
advocate blowing up buses, like Mr. Ahmad and Mr. Hooper have?
Has Mr. Pipes fought the FBI to stop them from investigating Islamist
terrorists, like Mr. Ahmad and Mr. Hooper have? Has Mr. Pipes
blamed every single offense against Jews (no matter how big or small)
on “Anti-Jewish” bigotry by
Americans as Mr. Ahmad and Mr. Hooper have for Muslims?
Mr. Ahmad and Mr. Hooper are self-serving
prostitutes to the Anti-American, Anti-Freedom cult that is Wahabbi
Islam. For either of these “men” to self-appoint themselves as
leaders of the Islamic faith is a grave insult to peaceful followers of
Islam. ACAIR looks forward to the day when
law enforcement agents are busy searching their offices for evidence of
their active support for Islamist terrorists. ACAIR
looks forward to the day when Mr. Ahmad and Mr. Hooper are videotaped
getting into the back of a police car on their way to jail. We look
forward
to seeing crowds of peaceful followers of Islam, and their fellow
Americans, waving “good riddance” to these two terrorist
supporters.
Outrage? Saudi Arabia
to begin Fingerprinting Visitors to Kingdom.
Arab
News has announced that Saudi Arabia will begin to fingerprint all
entrants to the Kingdom beginning in three months in an effort to
control overstayers and document forgers.
It is with great interest that we await the
opinion of CAIR in this matter. CAIR has consistently fought
against fingerprinting visitors to the United States on the grounds it
unfairly singles out Muslims.
Will CAIR now support fingerprinting of
visitors to the United States and reveal their hypocrisy, or will CAIR
tow the Saudi Arabian line and take direction from Riyadh? Is it
possible that CAIR will ignore the issue and hope the mainstream press
in
the United States doesn’t make it a public issue, or will CAIR label
anyone
questioning their position “Islamophobic”, their standard label for
anyone
who disagrees with Wahhabi Islam? Whichever position CAIR takes,
once
again, they can’t win.
FBI Receiving “Sensitivity
Training” From Islamist Terror Groups
The Federal Bureau of Investigation
(FBI) is providing “Enrichment Training Sessions” to both new recruits
and field agents in an attempt to familiarize special agents with
Muslim
customs. The training covers subjects such as: Muslim dietary
habits;
avoiding the showing of soles of shoes so as to not “offend” Muslims;
and other things agents should or should not do so as to not
upset/insult
Muslims.
It should be noted that there are well over
1000 different religious groups and sects in the United States
today. ACAIR questions whether the FBI is
providing special training regarding the dietary requirements of
Jews? The wearing of head coverings by
Sikhs? Voodoo as practiced in Haiti? No? Why not?
Is Islam, one of the oldest religions on
Earth, so delicate, so weak that the followers of the faith will
immediately fall dead should they see the sole of a shoe? Be
offered a bacon cheeseburger?
How is it that a Jew or a Sikh can be expected to
speak up if they feel their religious beliefs are being challenged, and
a Muslim cannot? What flaw exists in the Muslim character that
prevents them speaking out?
How will an FBI agent know that the person they are
addressing is Muslim? If they ask, they are “profiling”, if they
don’t, they are “insensitive”.
The Federal government should either mandate
“Enrichment Training Sessions” covering all religious beliefs
or, better yet, cover none. It is not the business of the FBI, or
any other law enforcement agency, to elevate respect for one religion
over another.
ACAIR believes the
goal of these “Enrichment Training Sessions” has little or nothing to
do with promoting “Islamic Sensitivity” and everything to do with interfering
with the FBI doing its primary job of protecting citizens. What
agent is going to want to aggressively pursue an Islamic suspect
knowing
that if they should forget any of the “Muslim Sensitivities” they may
find
themselves on the wrong side of a lawsuit?
We call on our fellow Americans to demand that
the agents stop attending these “sensitivity” meetings and get
on with the job they are being paid to do…catching terrorists. Leave
the “sensitivity training” to Miss Manners.
ACAIR is pleased to answer any questions from the
public and press.
