CAIR: Concerned over Muslim
Monitoring?
On May 15, the Press
Enterprise of Southern California, carried a column by Betty Wells
Miller on the topic of alleged government monotoring of Muslims.
Apparently, local Muslim leaders are concerned
enough over suspected monitoring by the FBI that they have filed a
“Freedom of Information Act” request through the American Civil
Liberties Union of Southern California (ACLU) to compel the FBI to
provide information on the suspected monitoring.
According to the article, the request hasn’t
been prompted by any specific incident…which naturally leads to
questioning why the request is being filed in the first place.
Consider that the request is not based on any
specific incident, includes no reasonable suspicions that the FBI has
broken any laws and is completely devoid of any proof, we can only
surmise that this is a fishing expidition launched solely to either
embarrass the FBI, or force the FBI to reign in the program, if it
exists…or both.
The FBI response to the request, provided by
J. Stephen Tidwell, assistant director of the FBI’s Los Angeles field
office, was that the FBI "…does not
investigate anyone based on their lawful activities, religious or
political beliefs."
However, it is the words of Hussam Ayloush,
executive director of the Southern California chapter of the Council on
American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SoCal) that provide the best clue as
to what prompted this request.
Ayloush claims that he and his family have
been “interrogated” at the border when returning from vacations in
Canada and Mexico.
Apparently, Ayloush fails to remember that he
is an official with an organization that is a terrorist supporting front,
partially funded by terrorists,
founded by Hamas supporters,
dedicated to the overthrow of
our Constitution, and wants
to install an Islamic theocracy under Sharia Law in our country.
Why would the government have any legitimate
concerns with this perverted agenda?
In addition, CAIR has contributed nothing to
the battle against Islamic terrorism directed against North America,
has had several officials tried, convicted, and sentenced on Islamic
terrorism charges, and provides information to the public on how to
speed-dial the ACLU should the FBI dare to step within 1000 feet of a
Muslim…and Ayloush is surprised at the extra attention he attracts?
Quite
frankly, in our opinon, Ayloush and anyone traveling with him should be
subjected to a full-body cavity search prior to entering the country ...
