Hamas
to be Banned in European Union; Is CAIR Concerned?

The European Union has announced that it has begun the process of shutting down the political wing of the
Hamas terrorist group.  In the politically correct, weakly written statement, the press release states: “…the EU decided, on September 5 and 6 at the Informal Ministerial meeting of Riva del Garda, to begin procedures leading to the insertion of the political branch of Hamas in the European list of terrorists organizations.”

ACAIR believes this action by the EU, should it be implemented, will remove a major terrorist threat from Europe and further damage the image of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Hamas supporting Islamist group based in Washington D.C.

ACAIR asks, “Now that even the Europeans have finally come to recognize that the political wing of Hamas is a terrorist group, what position will CAIR take?”  Will any major news group in the United States call Mr. Hooper and ask for his opinion?  We of ACAIR doubt it, but if they do, we will carry Mr. Hooper’s reply.

Another friend of CAIR down.
  Who’s next?

CACAIR Poll; Reading Between the Lines.

On September 10, 2003, the Council on American Islamic Relations, (CAIR) released a poll, with some very interesting observations.  Based on questions contained, the following results were reported:

1.  58% have increased their “social” activities.

2.  45% have increased their “political” activities.

3.   70% feel free to practice their faith without restrictions.

4.   88% knew of at least one person who suffered anti-Muslim bias or discrimination in the past year.

5.   56% had experienced discrimination.

ACAIR has taken a close look at this “poll” and we find it curious that CAIR conducted the poll themselves and the questions were asked via fax and e-mail.  In other words, CAIR did not scientifically select respondents, nor did they conduct any face-to-face interviews.  How does CAIR know that the respondents are Muslim?

CAIR sampled 644 individuals, from “more than 41 different states (and the District of Columbia)”…  CAIR samples 644 persons from 45 states, that’s roughly 15 people from each state! Some sample!  Would any reputable polling organization have put their name to this "poll"?

CAIR claims there are 7 MILLION Muslims in the United States…CAIR has sampled far less than ½ of one per cent.  Why?  Is it possible there are only 644 members of CAIR in the United States?  Where is the participation from the tens of thousands of members CAIR claims to have enrolled?

CAIR does not explain any of the categories; what is meant by increasing “political activities”; increasing “social activities”?  CAIR doesn’t say.  Why?

According to the “poll”, 88% of respondents know of at least one person who has been the victim of discrimination in the past year.  56% of the sample group had been directly affected by discrimination.  Really?  Several hundred Muslims have experienced the evils of discrimination and CAIR has…nothing to say about it?  Where are the “action alerts”?  Where is the request to send letters to congress?  Has law enforcement been contacted?  Why not?

CAIR says the results show that 70% of Muslims feel free to practice their religion without restrictions.  Amazing!  If we are to believe that 30% of Muslims in the United States are being prevented from freely practicing their religious beliefs, may we know why CAIR has not issued calls for an investigation?

ACAIR believes that all Americans are entitled to freely express their faith and we call on CAIR to immediately inform law enforcement authorities of where these rights are being violated.  If CAIR needs help in contacting relevant law enforcement authorities to report these violations of our Constitution, we of ACAIR will be happy to help them out.

Mr. Hooper, reveal to us where any American Muslims' right to worship freely is being violated.

U.S. U.S. Congress, Finally Waking Up to Threat Posed by CAIR?

US Senator Jon Kyl has written a “guest comment” for National Review On-Line concerning the hearings he recently chaired on the subject of terrorism in the United States.  While acknowledging the many successes in the war against terror, Senator Kyl writes: “…our government still has a great deal of work to do to secure our country from real and pressing terrorist threats.”

Senator Kyl says that in past hearings, Mr. David Aufhauser, general counsel to the Treasury Department, has accused the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of being the “epicenter” of terrorist financing.  Other witnesses testified to the connection between Wahhabi Islamic Mosques in the US and the Saudi regime.  Additional testimony was provided that shows a connection between Wahhabi Islam and attempts to pervert Islam in moderate Mosques, prisons, universities and the military.

What does this have to do with CAIR?  CAIR receives funding from the Saudi regime.  (It is against the law for a Saudi citizen to make a donation to any organization not approved of by the Saudi government)  The Saudi’s are not known for making donations to groups that do not share their world view.  Just what are the Saudi’s getting for the money they give CAIR?

     Mr. Hooper, care to comment?
