Agree with Terrorist Supporting Group?
On June 12, the Council on American-Islamic
Relations (CAIR) issued
a press release calling on the Pentagon and Congress to
investigate a music video.
The video refers to the fighting in Iraq and
describes a fictional event. The
Daily News of Jackson, N.C., tells Marine Cpl. Joshua Beliles' side
of the story.
“Belile, a 23-year-old who lives in
Jacksonville and serves
with Marine Light/Attack Helicopter Squadron 167, said
the song was meant only as a joke, based on lines from
“Team America: World Police” and that he apologizes
to people who may have been offended by the lyrics.”
CAIR has called for an investigation over a
JOKE made by an off-duty Marine. This is nothing more than cheap
theatrical agitprop being used to cause harm to the United States and
the U.S. Marine Corps.
CAIR Executive Director, Nihad Awad:
"Given the recent
allegations that U.S. Marines massacred
Iraqi civilians in Haditha and other areas, we need to
determine if this video is what it purports to be …
the inappropriate actions of a few individuals should
not be allowed to tarnish the reputation of all American
military personnel."
We remind our readers that CAIR has fought,
with the ACLU and other anti-American groups, every common-sense
attempt by the people of North America to protect themselves from
Islamist terrorism. In addition, CAIR is quick to announce every
alleged atrocity committed by our troops and implies, by monotonous
repetition, that the charges are true. In those cases where
the charges are later disproven, what do we hear from CAIR?
Silence.
Call it what you will, but the fact remains
that our armed forces are engaged in a war in Iraq. No matter how
the mainstream press wants to color it, the reality is that we are in a
war to the death with radical Islam and Iraq/Afghanistan are just the
latest manifestations in this centuries-long confrontation with a
hateful ideology, an ideology so warped, so sick, so perverted, that it
actually encouranges children to aspire to be “martyrs” in the name of
its prophet while claiming a commandment from god to commit the most
evil and vile of terrorist acts.
If this isn’t bad enough, we now have the U.S.
Marine Corps leadership making common
cause with one of the main supporters of Islamist terror in North
America.
From a statement
by Lieutenant Colonel Scott Fazekas:
“We agree with the executive director of
the Council on
American-Islamic Relations that the inappropriate actions
of a few individuals should not tarnish the reputation
of all American military personnel."
The United States Marine Corps, the elite
amphibious force, the “Always Faithful”, the proud force that the
President has on speed-dial and calls first when our great nation is in
peril, agrees with a statement issued by a group that supports those
very terrorists that are killing our Marines in Iraq and
Afghanistan?
What about Nihad Awad? Well, he’s
publically stated his support for Hamas and has spewed rhetoric in
front of the flag of Hizbullah. The same Hizbullah that terror
murdered over 200 Marines in Beruit.
Have we Americans forgotten our dead
Marines so soon? Have we
forgiven Hizbullah?
Nihad Awad represents a group founded by
Islamist terrorists, supported by Islamist terrorists, that has had
(and probably still does) Islamist terrorists on staff. But we
won’t read about that in CAIR or U.S. Marine Corps press releases, will
we?
Why are the Marines listening to him?
When I was younger, we had a retort we used
when someone said something we didn’t agree with, it was: “Go
tell it to the Marines”…it’s a sad day for all Americans when the
Marine Corps leadership issues statements in support of CAIR.
Just what kind of signal does this send to Marines in the trenches when
their Leadership issues statements supporting the very people who may
wish them dead?
HAVE WE
TRULY GONE MAD ...?
