CAIR:  Upset with “Monitoring Muslims”

On January 11, officials from CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) and MPAC (Muslim Public Affairs Council) met with the FBI to discuss concerns about the past monitoring of Muslim sites in North America.

No meeting with the FBI would be complete without a ridiculous public statement by a CAIR representative.  As usual,  CAIR did not disappoint with Nihad Awad, CAIR executive director, having this to say:  (In reference to security measures)

“…such perceptions can also lead to increased Islamophobia and even anti-Muslim hate crimes.”

While Awad is crying crocodile tears over “Islamophobia”, we of ACAIR can find no evidence that CAIR has ever made a positive contribution to law enforcement in the battle against Islamic terror.  One would think that a group purporting to represent North American Muslims would be in the forefront of denouncing those who would pervert their faith.  No, instead of positive contributions to the defense of our country, we get more hot air from CAIR.

These statements are all the more interesting when we consider that Awad is the former Public Relations Director for the Islamic Association of Palestine, which was a front for the despicable Hamas terrorist group which has targeted and terror murdered American citizens and others whom refuse to submit to a particularly heinous form of Islam.

We hope Awad and the rest of the Islamic terrorism supporters at CAIR will excuse rational North Americans praise for the FBI actions taken in defense of our country from the various Islamic terrorist groups (including Awad’s beloved Hamas) arrayed against us.

In ACAIR’s opinion, the facts demonstrate that CAIR has nothing meaningful to say on the subject of national security.
