     CAIR:  Once Again Demanding Respect

On September 30, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) published a “News Release” trumpeting CAIR’s victory over an advertisement sponsored by Boeing that appeared in National Journal magazine.

Anti-CAIR (ACAIR) has reported previously on CAIR’s tactics against company’s and individuals who do not toe the CAIR line:

As Anti-CAIR has previously given our opinion on CAIR’s policy of presuming to be arbiter of everything Islamic in North American society today, we won’t bore you with a repeat.

However, CAIR has added a new angle to their latest whine over hurt feelings.  In this case, the following statement was included:

“…CAIR will follow up with all parties involved to determine how the ad was produced
and to help prevent similar incidents in the future.”

CAIR is going to follow up with Boeing, their subsidiary and the magazine publisher to determine how the ad was produced and to help prevent similar incidents in the future?  Left unexplained is how CAIR is going to accomplish this task and why CAIR seems to feel itself qualified to speak for the entire Islamic faith in North America.

What will CAIR do to “absolve” Boeing of wrong doing?

Will CAIR convince Boeing to pay for expensive “diversity workshops” or have Boeing pay for a new playground at an Islamic school?

Or will CAIR go the Nike route on Boeing and demand a recall of all “offending products”, apologies all around, surrender of the design studio to “Islamic sensitivities” and promises to “be nice” to North American Muslim’s tender sensibilities?

According to Middle East scholar Dr. Daniel Pipes; "Hints of a financial contribution by Nike to CAIR appeared in the press in 1998 when CAIR operated a shakedown of the athletic shoe firm."

Nothing assuages an Islamist’s hurt feelings better than cold, hard cash…or a free playground?  Isn’t it nice to know that just like a common street-hustler, a prominent Muslim civil-rights group can be paid off with thirty pieces of silver?

Makes one wonder how the civil-rights group’s membership feels about their “representatives" selling out their collective dignity while at the same time demanding respect…it’s hard to respect a shakedown artist.

How much longer must we put up with an Islamist apologist for Islamic terrorism on our soil?

     Where are our elected leaders?

Where are “We, the people” and why aren’t we demanding action?...
