- CAIR: Condemning Jews, Protecting Terrorists

     On October 14, 2004, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, (CAIR) issued a press release that “condemned the daily killings of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip by Israeli armed forces”.


     CAIR continued:

     “As American officials stand mute, Israel is treating Gaza like a fenced hunting preserve in which human beings are the prey. Muslim condemnations of terrorism and extremism are undercut every time an American taxpayer-funded plane drops an American-made bomb on Palestinian civilians."


     We note with deep interest that CAIR consistently refuses to name Islamic terrorists by name or terrorist group affiliation, but gladly identifies the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) by name in their now-serial condemnations of Israeli defensive actions in Gaza.  (How do we know when the IDF has conducted another successful anti-Islamic terrorist action?  CAIR issues a press release condemning the defensive attack.)


     Isn’t it interesting that CAIR has absolutely nothing to say when Palestinian Muslims send Muslim children to terror-murder Israeli Jews, but as soon as a Jew defends himself or his country, CAIR issues another press release that obliquely blames American citizens for justified IDF strikes?  Just how many times must the citizens of America be insulted before taking offense?  Just how stupid does CAIR believe we are?


     We believe the IDF shows great forbearance in dealing with Palestinian civilians, even when they are unreasonably provoked.  We also note that Palestinian Muslim terrorists show no such hesitation in protecting innocent children, whether Muslim or Jewish, when they launch their terrorist attacks.  Where is CAIR’s condemnation of Muslim terrorists murdering innocent Muslim children?  Or do Muslim’s only count when they are Palestinian terrorists?  Why don’t innocent Muslim children murdered by Muslim terrorists warrant a CAIR press release?        


     We believe that Israel will lose the war against Palestinian terrorism if Israel continues to deal with Palestinian terrorism in half-measures.  Israel must militarily defeat the Palestinian terrorists and then dictate, not negotiate, the peace terms.


     There is no record of any free country ever defeating Islamofascism by negotiation.  Why expect it to happen today? 


     …and can anyone explain just why CAIR is qualified to comment on the Middle East?
