CAIR:
Upset by the Ugly Truth of Islamic Fascism
On 11 August, the Council on American-Islamic
Relations (CAIR) issued
a news brief lamenting the move by President Bush to label Islamic
terrorists as “fascists”. President Bush made the comment in
describing radical Muslims who sought to destroy aircraft with liquid
explosives.
In the news brief, Parvez Ahmed, CAIR’s
chairman, wrote to President Bush:
“You have on many
occasions said Islam is a `religion of peace.' Today you
equated the
religion of peace with the ugliness of fascism.”
Nihad Awad, CAIR’s executive director
and a supporter of the Hamas terrorist group states:
“We ought to take
advantage of these incidents to make sure that
we do not start a religious war against Islam and Muslims.”
The president rightly describes
the radical Muslims as being fascists, and CAIR rushes in to not
only defend Islamofascist’s tender feelings, but completely distorts
what the president said.
Islamofascists have declared war on North
America. They have given us a choice: convert to Islam, submit to
Islam, or die at the hands of Muslims. These choices are not acceptable
to Americans.
And Nihad Awad is wrong. CAIR’s dogmatic
support of Islamic terrorism and Islamic terrorists is well known. No
amount of Islamist rhetoric spewed by this Islamist hate group will
change the fact that CAIR is here to advance the Islamofascist cause
and CAIR is actively seeking to convert our country into an Islamic
theocracy…by any means necessary.
*We salute the president for his accurate
portrayal of Muslim terrorists as "Islamofascists" and we note that
this is long overdue.
