CAIR:  Hailing United States Submission to International Pressure

On 26 June, the Arab News carried an article, titled “Dry Up Terror Sources: Naif”.  From the article:

“The release of the 14 Saudis from the US military detention camp
at Guatanamo Bay, Cuba on Saturday was the result of worldwide pressure
and condemnation of the Bush Administration, said Nihad Awad,
director of the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).”

CAIR cheers the normal release of prisoners that have been cleared as the result of “worldwide pressure and condemnation of the Bush Administration”.

     Awad:
“I’m happy that these 14 were released and I hope
that they will soon enjoy their lives with their families.”

While all freedom loving people rejoice when justice triumphs, as it did in the case of these 14 people, we notice that CAIR said absolutely nothing about them being innocent; only that they were released as a result of pressure.

What does CAIR know about the 14 that we don’t?

     Mr. Awad, care to share?
