Chairman Elected to Board of ACLU – Florida
On March 8, the Council on American-Islamic
Relations (CAIR) announced that National Board Chairman Parvez Ahmed
has been elected
to the board of the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida (ACLU
views this election of Ahmed with great interest. We note that
both the ACLU and CAIR have opposed every common sense effort of
Americans to defend themselves from Islamic terrorism.
- The ACLU and CAIR oppose targeting of
illegal immigrants in our country; illegal immigrants are a grave
national security threat. We note that CAIR does not and has not
called on Muslim-majority governments to allow unfettered illegal
- Both organizations oppose the use of local
Police agencies to enforce immigration law. Illegal immigrants
are guilty of breaking the law by their simple presence in our
country. CAIR has nothing to say about Muslim countries using
their local police to apprehend illegal immigrants. Double standard?
- Mutually opposed the original Patriot
Act and now oppose the renewal. Despite our country being at war
with Islamic terrorists, neither organization is willing to stand with
their fellow Americans to defend those things worth defending; family,
community, and country.
- ACLU and CAIR protest the detention of
Muslim terrorism suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba on Constitutional
grounds. However, does the Constitution provide protection to
terrorists located overseas being held by American forces? If
not, do the Geneva Conventions apply? (The Geneva Conventions
provide no protection to terrorists; specifically, terrorists are enemy
combatants and civilized countries recognize that they deserve no
protections. This is as it should be.)
CAIR, birthed from the Islamic Association of
Palestine and a front for radical Islam in the United States and Canada
is unashamedly anti-American by both action and word.
never apologized, or explained, the several Muslim criminals convicted
on Islamic terrorism charges they have had on staff…how
many more are
waiting for their chance to attack Americans? Which of us may be
the next victim?
CAIR is consistently on the wrong side in the
war on Islamic terror; along with the ACLU, we can expect nothing but
obstruction and opposition to common-sense initiatives to further
prevent Islamic terrorist attacks on North America and deliberate
attempts by both to provide extra-legal protections to Muslim
The war on Islamic terror is a black and white
issue. You either stand with America or you do not. We do
not have the luxury of debating policy with America bashing groups or
individuals; time is running out.

the bodies of dead Americans.

To those who say that this is not an alliance
between CAIR and the ACLU, ask yourself this question: “Would the
ACLU have bothered with Ahmed if he weren’t chairman of CAIR?”
